The Ska'tTsmen cometh! Hailing from the land of snow, cheese, beer, and paper mills, we are an 8 piece Ska/Punk/Rock band who would love nothing more than to please your listneing holes with our intriguing Mid-West Ska sound.
Starting out in the Spring of 2004 as a rockabilly band known as the Jolly Rogers, they realized that ska was much cooler than the standard four-piece band, they added horns and began to skank out with their crank out ever since.
We have just released our full length CD album "Give 'Em the Turkey" (which we have a few snippits available above in the player) and have heard a lot of positive feedback from our fans so far. We just got back from our tour with Here's Jonnies around the Mid-West and we were very succesful in getting our music out to new potenial listners. And just so people don't begin to feel too neglected by us due to the passage of time, we are organizing and beginning work on our untitled next album that will blow our previous album out of the water.
Shows have been somewhat steady near the home area but we are looking to expand our venue area. Schedules are becoming easier to work around and so soon we hope to be skanking along with you WHEREVER you may be. Remember, it's great to see a local band become a big deal, so support local music if you can. This means buying shirts, buttons, stickers, patches, CD's, vinyls, or just throwing a couple bucks to the band to get food and gas. Most importantly though, show up to see them play. That makes them feel all warm and frothy on the inside.
The Ska'tTsmen have shirts, stickers, buttons, and CD's available to buy NOW! If you are interested let us know. Love and tenderness from all of us to you.
