Axis of Evil! is cooked. Finito. Finit.
It was fun. We started in 2004 I think. Maybe 2003. We kind of ended in 2007 and played one last show in the summer of 2008.
By the end we probably played around 150 shows in 6 or 7 states. We went on tour three times-ish. Half of the band spent most of their time boozing and smoking weed. The other half spend most of their time calling Joe the trumpet player trying to get him to come to soundcheck.
Some highlights included... playing a barn in rural pennsylvania, getting rejected from canada, being aggressively surrounded by badgers while smoking a blunt in the large metal tube running under a bridge in a large parking lot, getting pulled over by a cop who used to be in a hardcore band and let us off easy because he likes the bosstones, ben howe getting shitfaced at his last show and playing his trombone like a sloppy asshole towards the bathroom door, having a residency at a sweet venue and then not having a residency because no one came to see us, our old drummer giving us an ultimatum (change practice time or he doesn't come so he can watch the OC), and some other things too.
I don't think anyone really got any ass thanks to Axis of Evil!. All of our fans were about 14 years old. Actually, scratch that, one of us got half a blowjob and a couple makeouts. Maybe Kevin Kennedy got some ass too. He's a crafty one.
So don't ask us to play shows. Don't ask us to be on your comp. I mean, if you want our song on your comp, go ahead, but we're not going to buy 50 cds so you can get it pressed. And if you have some amazing show offer, we might be able to do it. We never got to play with NOFX. So if you have a show with NOFX, we'd do it maybe. That's it.

Hey it's your buddy Mike Falzone (no one says buddy anymore). I just wanted to give you my record "Fun with Honesty" for free. I'd also like to give you an obnoxiously long hug, but due to our proximity, I don't think that can happen today. Please give it a listen. If I'm ever Famous one day you can say, "Hey! That loser gave me his album for free!"...then you can laugh at everyone who paid $20 for it at Best Buy. Have a great day!
Hey all you Mafia fans!
We've got some awesome news, and some not so awesome news. The awesome news is that we have a SHOW ON JUNE 12TH at the 1st Baptist Church in Westfield, NJ! It's gonna be an wonderous lineup.
The not so awesome news is that we're breaking up, and THIS IS THE LAST TIME EVER TO SEE THE MAFIA PLAY. After this, there will be no more Cats Pooping on Pillows, no more Michael J Fox attempting to play Nintendo Wii, and most of all, no more Nosebleeds.
And we're gonna divorce Awful Waffle LIVE on stage.
