Skean Dubh
(pronounced Skeen Doo)
They are one of the most enjoyable Acoustic bands in the Rocky Mountain region. Their diverse repertoire spans centuries with fire-driven instrumentals, Scottish ballads, Irish pub-songs, and gorgeous slow airs.
These versatile musicians have received accolades consistently over the years for their exuberant performances. They have that unique combination of traditional melodies, driving rhythmic accompaniment, and extremely musical vocals that make their performances unforgettable. The music may be Folk, but the drive and enthusiasm are akin to full on rock.
Skean Dubh has continually delighted audiences both with their musical styling and with their unusual instrumentation (a unique blend of traditional and modern instruments) including: fiddle, guitar, banjo, bouzouki, Uilleann pipes, whistles, mandolin, bodhran, djembe, doumbek, and accordion.

Hi all Thanks for your kind comments and I really enjoyed your Celtic music - sounds like you're right in Dublin :) I was wondering if Eric is able to do any work as a session musician? I really like the sound of the pipes - such a quintessential Celtic sound. All the best with your music and have a great weekend :)
Your music is so beautiful! Gorgeous timbres, tone, and emotional expression. Thank you so much for the add. Hopefully we can get the whole band to one of your next performances to come and listen to you live.
Thank you for the "heads up" on TP! Decent venues are limited here unless you trek further to the slopes. As I listened to your music the first time, I placed your sounds against a foggy backdrop at Red Rocks. What a show that would be. Best!
Hey guys, Sending shout-outs from Texas. Thank you for the friendship, we greatly appreciate it. Love the music, really great stuff. And how great is it to open for Battlefield Band. {;-)
Ready for the storm is streaming through the headphone rig. It is such a pleasure to listen to good quality music, where the artist and recording engineer truly care about the quality of the music. It is on its third time around and even in MP3 it sounds good. From the tonality to the sound stage, such a joy to listen to.
