‘Skeeter Jones and the Beer Can Band’ have a very diverse background. Skeeter and Caylan are also the driving force behind two Rock bands in Southeast Texas – Livin’ Proof (cover band) and Secret Theory (original music). As a rock band they have opened for major acts at clubs and festivals from Texas to Florida.
Through a strange twist of fate, Skeeter was hired by KAYD radio in Beaumont - a Country station - to be a part of the morning show. Skeeter fell in love with the Country lifestyle and decided to form a Country band to express his love for Country. Several calls were made and ‘Skeeter Jones and the Beer Can Band’ was formed!
‘Skeeter Jones and the Beer Can Band’ have opened shows for many touring Country acts and went international with shows on Carnival Cruise lines.
The ‘Skeeter Jones and the Beer Can Band’ experience is something to behold. You will be entertained with Country cover songs, original Country songs and you’ll probably recognize some songs from their ‘Livin’ Proof’ days.
