Skeez hails from Manchester, UK. At 15 he began mc-ing, writing lyrics and freestyling. Still in Education studying events management helping run some of the North's best urban club nights. His first break was performing live at the age of 17 with the mighty Roni Size at the famous Sankeys Soap. He feeds an incredible amount of energy to the crowd when mc-ing. The ravers know when he has landed because he is an MC who brings the Hype! Skeez has a wide range of influences to ensure his lyrics always sound fresh and original and can spit on anything!
Skeez shows great presence and always gets the crowd involved. He brings a great party vibe to any rave! With many more years to come young Skeez has quickly become a favourite up in the North of England and beyond and particularly in his home town of Manchester. Skeez's first 4 track E.P titled “Above and Beneath These Streets” was produced by 1lastorder in summer 2k8. This made noise on the street's of Manchester and since then Skeez has been keeping his head down , always trying to find that original sound to breakthrough with. Skeez has played up and down the country touching down in Manchester, London, Leeds, Liverpool, Leicester, Birmingham, Nottingham and more. Some of his further a field gigs have included Holland, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic and Spain. Some of the DJ’S that he has worked alongside with, include Andy C, Zinc, Chase & Status, Sub Focus, Shy FX, Friction and many others. However, it's now time to transform into the artist.
He is currently working with a producer and some amazing musicians on his solo stuff. Expect some 'LIVE' material to be released in the summer of 2010. Sorry it's taken so long, sometimes you have to step back to step forward and come up with a concept and idea that seperates you from the generics and i think we nearly have something to take the masses by storm!
