About Skellum

Skellum are a five piece Edinburgh based band, writing and playing their own material; a mixture of pop, rock, blues and ballads... Skellum was formed in late 2004 as a three piece accoustic band, initially known as 'Spent', then 'Stone Horse', before (hopefully) settling on their present name 'Skellum'. The three initial members can still be seen in and around Edinburgh doing accoustic ‘open mic’ sessions, especially where the payment for playing is a pint. However - with the introduction of John C joining on Drums in mid 2006 and John B joining on Bass in mid 2007, and very recently Jeanne taking over the drums - the focus is now on playing both accoustic and electric sessions....
