I live in a tiny village on the north coast of Scotland where my husband and I are attempting to build an eco-friendly house using earth rammed tyres and strawbales, a bit like an earthship www.skerray.net . So far we have only managed to inflict a small shanty town on our rural idyll.... Anyway during daylight hours I am generally digging things up or nailing stuff down. What I really enjoy is embroidery and textiles and having the time to actually sit down and sew, I studied textiles briefly at uni but it was very fashion orientated and I prefer pictures!
Wotta lotta tyres! Well done you two! I feel a bit guilty now; I went to bed at midnight and didn't wake up 'till 7pm! And I'm ready for bed again already :D
