About me:
PUT YOUR ABOUT ME SECTION HERE! The Ski and Snowboard Club at Sacramento State is a school organization that focuses on maximizing the opportunity for people to meet new friends and enjoy outdoor activities. The club consists of skiers and snowboarders of all ages, skill levels, ethnicities and backgrounds and we are continually searching and recruiting new members. The club provides weekly activities, a cabin in Tahoe for members and their friends & family to use during the winter, discounts at many local stores and shops, and the opportunity to travel on our annual winter trip. This year, our trip is Breckingridge, Colorado from January 6th-11th. Along with our annual trip abroad, we also offer local bustrips. Last year we offered a bustrip to Sugarbowl and we plan to offer more trips to expand your mountain palite. Our club has the largest budget of any club at CSUS. Thats why we are relatively affordable and offer many outlets for fun activites. We are able to do so with one fundraiser: The Sac State Ski Swap. Venders from all over California meet at our swap to offer goods at reasonable prices. You can also sell your used gear. You can also buy your season pass at your favorite mountain at their specific tent.

So many people still don't understand Riverboarding. We do not use a boat to travel upstream at 30+ mph. Riverboarding is powered by a bungee system that slingshots you upstream. You use the river current to stretch the bungee. Once the bungee is done pulling, it releases from the board allowing you to do many boardsport tricks. Once your ride is done, float back downstream to the end of the bungee, hook the board to the bungee, stretch it and ride again. Surf all day long! I am still getting Emails asking how to hook the board to the boat. www. BANSHEERIVERBOARDS. COM

Talk about ending the 2008 SB Season with a Bang!

Monday, was the last day @ our precious Sierra-at-Tahoe. Josh, tone capone, JP and I hit the slopes as hard as we could until the lifts stopped rollin'

I was determined to get a few more rips in the pipe so i hiked it two more times.. the boya went to the pub to practice there right pick up lines.. and needless to say.. numbers were handed out but not by them.. from them! lol

it was a blast. I had so much fun this season, and to be able to ride a brand new board that i get to stare at all summer on the last day.. made me feel like a kid in a candy shop!

See you all Thursday.. Broooooomball!

have fun.

It is going off this Friday in Chico at Craig Hall's Parking lot with 60 cats throwing down for a $500 cash purse and the top five qualifying for the $5,000 cash purse at the Portland Finals on May 23rd.

$1,000s of dollars in prizes are ready to be given to riders and tossed out to the crowd to the sick beats of DJ Wicky.
