When four young Trinidadians from different cultures shared a common interest in music it became one powerful idea: the sound of Skid"Nevely.

After living in St. Lucia for sixteen years, arranging for a well-known steelpan orchestra, Andrew McIntosh returned to his homeland Trinidad, prepared to make his imaginings of a rock band a reality. Shane de Silva, veteran of the local scene, jumped on board with a wealth of experience in rocking out on stage. Mark Wallace was just as ready for the ride. Not long afterwards Anthony Abraham, the final element, was added. After Mark's departure in 2006, Skidnevely recruited Shallun Sammy. Driving force behind another popular punk band, the former vocalist and lead guitarist was ready and willing to take the band to another level.

Blending melodic rock music with a tenor steelpan and calypso rhythms, Skid"Nevely is a Caribbean band that continues to break boundaries and push limits. Too lively to be confined by the rules, their energy flows out into their steelpunk/rock music and jumps out into your........ daughters' bedrooms?

Sure to raise some eyebrows on the way as well as showing the world some of the music that Trinidad has to offer, Skid"Nevely is ready for the road, taking every listener along for an unforgettable ride. (If you happen to catch a live show then you'll know what I mean).
