Greg Elliot (Spagirus) moved from Oklahoma to Austin, Texas in 2004 and met up with Kevin Searle (Photon Ghoul) through a mutual friend (Jake Thomason of Terminal Shock). They played together and recorded a few times (along with Kevin's brother Eric) and honed their sound to using no-input mixing boards and various effects processing of the mixer feedback, prepared guitar and bass, percussion, and keyboards. They are now doing several live shows around Texas and beyond. Greg's Spagirus work tends to be in the droning ambient realms, and Kevin's Photon Ghoul project tends to be of the harsh noise variety. When they come together an interesting balance of these two extremes emerges.
