Formed in 2000 in Flint, Michigan as a retaliation against rap-metal. The band started out with more of a simple grind sound, but over the years has successfully blended the styles of Death Metal, Old School Hardcore, New School Hardcore, & Thrash Metal. This blend makes Skin Casket an unbelievably versitile band that can fit in playing with almost any band. They have opened for the likes of Goatwhore, Immolation, 216, Superjoint Ritual, Devil Driver, Cattle Decapitation, Morbid Angel, Hatebreed, & Repulsion. Also one of the founding bands in the Flint Death Squad - a group of super-talented metal bands from the Flint area that have grouped together to take over the world! Flint Death Squad!
