ERASE THE MEMORY - Live, Stormin 07 (Thanks Leanne)
Rebel Yell - Live, Stormin 07 (Thanks John):
Skinflint formed in 1998, and after a few lineup and directional changes began to make a name for themselves on the pub covers circuit in 1999. After tightening up their act and gaining valuable live experience the band started working their own material into their covers set, which was often recieved better than their cover versions. Over 2001 and 2002 the band underwent several recording sessions at various studios, the results of which were compiled onto what became known as the 'untitled Skinflint EP' which sold very well at gigs. In 2003 the band wrote and recorded a full 9 track album in Kev and Al's house without budget. The 'Figure of 8' album surpassed the EP's sales in a matter of months, and is still a much requested CD at gigs. A year of heavy gigging in 2004 saw the band play at gigs ranging from the Ox Inn in Stanley to the Cavern Club in Liverpool, and at several major motorcycle club rallies. During this time the band started including some newer material in the set which was heavier and more technical than the songs from Figure of 8, and these songs were recorded in early 2005 on the 'Erase the Memory' EP, which sold out it's entire first pressing at it's launch gig at Trillians in Newcastle.
The band are continually gigging and working on new material, so check out the listings for forthcoming gigs.

Hey Hows it goin? hope things are going good for you?
We've changed our band name recently, and just thought we'd let you know about it.
We decided to change from KALEB to DETHONATOR, owing to the presence of other artists trading under the name KALEB. Our new band name DETHONATOR has been chosen to avoid confusion and to promote a brand that stands alone.
