Skinny Project is a dreampop/shoegazer/newwave/ambient/electronic artist/producer based in Zaragoza, Spain.
Skinny Project is the personal project of german-spanish Juan Bauty, with the vocal collaborations of the talented spanish singer Estherlo. After a first (chill-out style) self-produced album (Nite Lights. 2004), Skinny Project finally reorients his music to dreampop, newwave and shoegazing sounds, his favourite kind of music, creating a special style very dark 80's oriented.
Skinny Project's other musical side are danceable electro-pop remixes to other independent artists, with the name of Juan Skinny. Always opened to nice and creative collaborations.

The fluttering of distant memories comes to life through the sounds of Francesco Giannico, whose blend of electronics and acoustic instruments paint beautiful pictures of lost times. His musical approach is described as a cinematic journey which pushes the boundaries of digital media even further by incorporating smooth melodies and gentle textures. More traditional instruments such as guitar and piano are constantly present into Francesco’s music, within interrupted structures or long and dreaming sonorous carpets.

Obedient Waves
Hey guys! After a year and a half we are back charging full steam ahead with the release of our latest album "Songs For The Road Towards The End Of The World" this past May 31, 2009. Unlike our two previous releases this was a long duration album (LP) featuring 12 all created by Pete Drown. Mike Mellow participated in the album by co-producing it and creating the art. The first single is called "Ciento Once Grados" (111 Degrees) and we have a brief video/slideshow teaser for it on our page.
