My interests are people. I love to watch them and play with them. The renaissance faires are what I've called a "grown up playground"! I like to think of how I played Cops and Robbers or Cowboys and Indians as a kid, but now I can play Pirates and Wenches!

Music
My own band from the '80's! Believe it or not! Still find our albums and such on eBay!
Movies
I love movies. I still believe in the theatre experience also. In my studio shop I have a full surround sound setup as well, so I've usually got a movie on even while I'm working! And I like lots of movies, over a variety of genre's. Movies are magical, and I like to be enveloped by them. Even at home, I shut the phone off, pull the drapes, make some popcorn, and I won't hit the pause button!
Favorites? Oh, soo many to list; too many really. So I'll let IMDB do it for me! It's a list of what's in my library; and it's way incomplete at the moment...

But here's a few that just pop in my head as I write this: Pirates of the Caribean, Lord of the Rings, Warriors, Conan, Excalibur, Back to School, Ninth Gate, Troy, Groundhog Day, Man who knew too little, old Star Trek films, Fifth Element, original three Star Wars, All Indiana Jones, all Harry Potters, Dragonslayer, Braveheart, Rock & Roll High School, Stripes, Heavy Metal, Van Helsing, Naked Gun, Airplane, Roger Rabbit, Addams Family, Halloween (original only), Cutthroat Island, This is Spinal Tap, Terminator films, Alien films, Mad Max / Road Warrior, Knights Tale, Planet of the Apes (originals), Vacation series, Excorcist, All of Me, and on and on...
Television
I don't really watch much television, but once in a while I'll get hooked on something. Belive it or not, I've been recording The Simpson's on VHS since it first aired, and continue to do so today. I am still upset that Tru Calling never made it past season 2. Though I didn't start out from the beginning, I am now hooked on LOST. Otherwise, when possible, I love to catch shows on TLC, Discovery, History Channel, etc., but since I don't have cable or satellite, those opportunities are rare.
Books
Currently reading Club Dumas. Love to read. Never time to do it. Try to read before bed, fall asleep everytime. Frustrating. Currently I'm reading The Club Dumas. I cherish my full collection of Grimm's Fairy Tales, as well as collections of Dickens, Stoker, Shelley, Poe, and Stevenson to name a few. Got the complete Poe last Christmas. One that I'm recently looking to read again is "Venus of Dreams" by Pamela Sargent. Ultimate favorite is "The Man who Folded Himself" by David Gerrold.
Heroes
You know, it is my opinion that a real hero is someone that commits a selfless act for the benefit of another; especially if that selfless act puts his own life or well being in jepordy. "Sports Heros"? It's a shame to put the two words together. No such thing in my opinion.

Now I'm finding myself more and more into entertainment at faires and festivals. My most recent honor is that of being recognized as one of the five Pirate Lords of the Great Lakes!
I'm also a photographer who loves to play around with different things. My image passion is 3D photography, with an emphasis on fashsion and fantasy, especially the dark mysterious stuff. See my photo albums for a quick gallery of some of my older work.
And being in the sticks, nothing else is available to me but Dial-up, and MySpace sucks. You people with huge profile pages with lots of images and videos - forget it! I can't load it! Takes half the day!
Who I'd like to meet: All of you! I'm a friendly and playful guy, love to interact at all levels! Stop by and engage me; try to get me to break character - see how far you can get!
You bringin' yer lass out this last weekend to MMRF to retrieve 'er 'at button? We believe she lost it when 'er 'at fell in the mud at me bar. (Nice to see you again, mate!)
Celebrating the day you were brought to this earth, and found yer way to the seas; is a great reason, for the rum to be gone. Just, hopefully, not before the party's over
I don't know if I'll make it up to Fair this year (I usually work th-su) we'll figure something out! Are you staying near by during the week, or going home?
Oh Captain, My Captain...why art thou sad? :( I loved seeing you this weekend. I'm sorry I won't be able to make Port Washington again...this is a really lousy time of year for me. But school ends tomorrow and my load will lighten a bit and I can focus on new things for summer! Btw, we will not be performing at the feast this year...so I am looking for a new worker bee position for MIRF. I would hate to miss out on the fun. xxoxo I hope you have many smiles this weekend in Port Washington!
