Skip-Dawg Bio: Princeton University grad Dann Furia, aka rapper Skip-Dawg, is a talented and successful musician with a captivating life story of triumph in the face of grueling adversity. In 2005, Skip-Dawg underwent intensive surgeries on both lungs to repair a genetic condition that caused his lungs to collapse. Described as a hybrid of rapper TI and singer Justin Timberlake, the unique and standout rapper Skip-Dawg recently became the first hip hop artist to ever be featured in the highly prestigious “Passenger Profile” by TAXI.com.
In 2008, Skip-Dawg starred as the rapper in a national commercial for Windstream Communications. His single “Skip To The Floor” recently broke into rotation on BigFM Germany (syndicated in 24 cities) and has been licensed for use in several feature films. In 2009, Skip-Dawg also signed with the highly selective sound licensing giant Pump Audio, a subsidiary of Getty Images.
Skip-Dawg has recorded four albums, the most recent of which, titled “We Will Rise, was executive produced by Beatgods of Interscope Records. Music from the album “We Will Rise has been featured by Youtube sports, Zimbio Online Magazine, and Skope Magazine.
