OK please read this: We release melodic music. Indiepop and such, ok? Athough we are really flattered that a lot of post hardcore, nu metal and industrial bands have contacted us and want us to release their albums...how can I say this..um, no. We don't want to sound standoffish or elitist, but there are other labels better suited to your kind of music, ok?
If you got past the first part, please read on.
Submissions Policy: Ok. You think your band is really wonderful and you would like us to release it on our label.

WILLIAM
KNAPP:
Hi, my name is William. To the left is a picture of me when I was about six.
I have been involved in music in one way or another since before that photo
was taken. I’ve been in a lot of bands like: CIA, Reflex From Pain, 76% Uncertain,
Onion, Shelter, Explodee (with Greg Vegas from Monsterland) and Names for Pebbles.
A few others too, which you may or may not have heard of. I’ve done a lot of
recording and producing of bands. If you want to know who, just e mail me! Right
now I make a living as the Creative Director of an Interactive Media company.
Music is my true passion though, like air, I need it to live.
CHRISTINE
JEWELL:
Hi, my name is Christine. I grew up in the Green Mountains and made my way to
CT via New York and art school. I love flowers, making pretty things and stuff
that sparkles. Sometimes I wish I lived in a different century, like Victorian England, Imperial China or the Renaissance. My favorite color is periwinkle.
Skipping Stones Records! The Besties of NYC are
Marisa and Kelly ..boards / vocals and Ricky on guitar. Their debut album,
"Singer", was released on Valentine’s Day, 2006 to raving reviews. This
album is almost sold out! "bright, bubbly and downright infectious" SoundsXP
"melts the hardest of hearts" Magnet
"assured and catchy, not to mention kinda touching" Time Out / New
York
Lili de la Mora and Rodney Sellars make up the duo The
Year Zero from Long Beach, CA. Lili’s gentle vocals weave together with
Rodney’s layerings of guitars and keyboards to create futuristic dream pop soundscapes
reminiscent of early shoegaze. "swoony dreamscapes that are ethereal, dreamy and even a bit ambient"
indiepages
"gleaming lo-fi ambient anthems that suggest My Bloody Valentine with an
elegant hangover" music.download.com
Swedish pop trio The Charade,
comprised of members of Happydeadmen, The Shermans and Red Sleeping Beauty,
released their second album, emblazoned in Swedish colors, in June. Swedish
newspaper Expressen compares The Charade to The Cardigans and has pronounced
the song "Dressed in Yellow and Blue" as the best tribute to the Swedish World
Cup Soccer Team. "the sweetest pop song I’ve heard written for a World Cup team...it’s
from The Charade, and like most Swedish pop floating around these days, is catchy
and beautiful." extrawack.com
Dyrdin’s self titled album was released just before Popfest! New England. They played to a packed house. It was their second time to the US and their second popfest.
"What makes great indie pop? Sensitive lyrics? Adorability? When you sing in Icelandic about dreamy ski instructors and mesh an infectious blend of girl-pop and C-86, there is no rubric for pop; there is just Dyrdin."
