SkizZ teh WizZ is a rapper from Hilliard, OH. A product of the A.D.H.D. generation, cartoons, horror flicks, video-games, porno, medication, comedy, magic, and various music styles. He plays guitar, dabbles in keyboard, makes beats, sings and spits on his tracks. With help from his cohort, DJ Prang, SkizZ aims to create beats not normally heard in hip-hop. Constantly conjuring up ideas, teh Wizard is always changing.
Listening to rap since the age of 10, SkizZ was born but had not surfaced.
It was after years of listening to groups like ICP, Twiztid, Dark Lotus (etc.), that he realized hip-hop had become a full blown passion. He wrote a few raps here and there, but all of them were shit. They looked exactly like any other ICP or Twiztid track, so he put down the pen for a long while.
SkizZ began rapping with $cratch n Sniff of... $cratch n Sniff in late '05. Lacking a form of recording, they spit their raps over a beat into a camera and later extracted the audio. He recorded a few songs with them (i.e. "Handicapped", "Retirement Home" & "Drugs and Diseases") until he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to attend an Audio Engineering school. But it did not work out for him, as he moved back roughly 2.5 months later. But this time away gave him the chance to work on his craft and obtain a laptop to record with.
Upon his return, he and $nS went to work on their album, "Bow to It." An album full of satire ("Six One Fo'"), drug use ("ReReMadness II"), stomach churners ("The JonBenet Buffet") and other random shit ("Butane Baby Logic"). They also recorded a 2 Halloween tracks ["Ohio University Massacre" & "Halloween Candy"] and a XXX-mas track ["EGGNOG"].
After roughly a year SkizZ left Hilliard once again and headed to Fairborn, OH to attend Wright State. There he met DJ Prang, a fellow product of suburbia's hidden madness. They discussed music and video-games to the point where they knew they had to create music fitting to what the world has become. He also met fellow rapper, Martyr, who opened his eyes to rappers such as EL-P, Aesop Rock, Jedi Mind Tricks, R.A. the Rugged Man, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, etc.
Since then, SkizZ has been working even more to alchemize a new breed of hip-hop which he calls "Tripakinetic Hex-Hop" (aka the sounds of Madness). One that constantly shifts and changes form.
