Shooting pool, firearms, paintball, outdoor stuff in general, fixing things (like my car, bike etc.),
reading, mostly light reading lately but when the mood strikes I read real "literature" too, photography (my flickr), my dogs, pictures on flickr, the Dallas Mavericks, my motorcycle.
I guess I'm really somewhat of a "geek" although I really don't like any labels being applied to me and can be kind of reserved about talking about myself or what my interests are. Truthfully I have very eclectic tastes, internet/gamer subculture, anime, "intellectual" pursuits (arguing or learning just about anything), really anything that is interesting or challenging. I have a tendency to become interested in something, spend a lot of time learning about it, and then get bored and move on to the next thing.
Music
Hmm... Well I like a a lot of different kinds of music. Old country like Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Johhny Cash etc. Classic rock like Hendrix, Skynrd, Jethro Tull. 80's pop and hair metal, the music may be hideous but I did grow up with it. The genre I feel the greatest connection to is the alternative/Seattle grunge movement from the 90's, this was about the time I was old enough to start developing my own musical tastes. I would have to say my favorite 3 bands are Nirvana, The Toadies, and Burden Brothers. Got to add The Avett Brothers to this list, but then again I always have liked weird obscure shit :)
I used to play guitar alot but my best friend who I played with enlisted, bastard ;)
Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

According to the new rules of the corporate culture, we are stealing every time we expect some product or services for our money. We're stealing when we expect to use an iPhone the way we want to use it. We're stealing when we assume "unlimited" bandwidth means "unlimited" bandwidth. We're stealing when we borrow a book from the library or from friend. We're stealing when we pay for health insurance and then actually use it. We're stealing when we expect the government to do something useful with our tax money like provide health care to children instead of providing security services to oil companies in Iraq.
We're supposed to shut up and pay.

You go right ahead and live on the block where 10 guilty guys went free.
Tell you what. I'll live with the criminals, and you live in the next town over where the cops can do whatever the hell they want. I guarantee you I'll have a longer, safer life than you will. What people like you never seem to understand is that when cops don't follow the law, they're no longer serving and protecting -- they're just the biggest, toughest, meanest gang on the street.

Most people know that Descartes said, "I think, therefore I am." What most people don't know is that that quote continues, "...afraid of Chuck Norris."
Who I'd like to meet: Chuck Norris

Okay so now you have 2 birthday comments from me b/c evidently I need to work on my typing skills (9 and 0 are too close together). And it seems my editing skills are a little slow as well. Ooops!
You should call your best friend sometime and ask him about the baby that he's gonna have in March....since he won't call you and tell you about it himself....
