The Skull Surfers are a new, NEW, NEW! surf band comprised of former Stump Grinders guitarist Tim Kostas, Moon Hoax drummer Mark Toomey and bassist Pete Homan. The band is looking to jump back into the Boston surf scene with some COOL tunes from the 60's to the modern day. Some GIGS have been scheduled... be on the look out for MORE!!
The tunes posted here are a few LIVE (but rough) basement cuts from some recent rehearsals. Studio stuff is coming soon!
The song "Gusher" is an ORIGINAL tune, written back in the late 90's when Tim was with his former surf band The Stump Grinders... please check it out!
Also currently playing... our versions of two classics: "Penetration" & "Peter Gunn". In addition, we have covered the great Aqua Velvets with a rendition of "Spanish Blue"

He has established a monthly Surf Night there and it growing faster by the day. He has got two bands from Twangstock this Saturday, The Octomen & The Outpatients! He's got the ones that started it all before we even knew it started, The Supertones! Wow! If that isnt enuf he has got one of the newest bands to hit the scene, El Muchacho! But Bobby D wasnt finshed yet... He has got The 9th Wave! The Power Of East Coast Surf! Holy Hot Rod Surf, Bobby! Talk about going over the top! Go there hang out and join the coolest scene on the east coast or any other coast!
Op zaterdag 19 mei speelt Red Zone Cuba een speciale gig. Op uitnodiging van ons komt de Franse band Psycho Witches naar Nederland! Als opener nemen ze de one-man-punk-band Fred Fresh mee.

The Filthy Red Horse langs. Zij stonden recent nog in de finale van Nu Of Nooit!
