About me:
My name is Adelle Stripe. I am a writer and editor. I write short stories. I write articles about noisy bands. I write advertising copy. Sometimes I write bad poetry. My writing has been published in various places including- 3:AM/Savage Kick/Laura Hird/Scarecrow/Full Moon Empty Sports Bag/Rising Poetry/Stool Pigeon/Brand/Flux/Paris Bitter Hearts Pit/Vomit In The Mainstream. I am also a co-founder of the renegade poetry movement known as The Brutalists....when I'm not writing I like to run around in muddy fields and forget about words as the wind blows through my hair.

My poems have appeared in the Brutalist anthology 'Nowhere Fast' alongside Tony O'Neill & Ben Myers, on ltd edition through Captains of Industry Books. My debut solo collection 'Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid - Love & Loss in London' will be published on Blackheath Books in June 2008. Two of my poems have appeared in Issue 7 of Succour Magazine (Animals), and I will be contributing to the next issue of Mineshaft Magazine. If you haven't heard of them already, they are the leading lights in counterculture press in the US, previously featuring Billy Childish, R.Crumb, and Tommy Trantino amongst many others..

Want to buy a copy of Brutalism One Nowhere Fast ? It's now onsale at Artwords Bookshop, Rivington St, Shoreditch

Visit my website Straight From The Fridge for all your Brutalist poetry needs, as recommended in the Bookaholics Guide To Book Blogs (Marion Boyars) "notoriously sensationalist/extreme and challenging - one of London's newest showcases for edgy literary talent"

How do Tadcaster girl,

just had the pleasure of watching Last Orders on YouTube - and it ain't half bad! Don't envy you having to work with that sluggish congregation. I'll check out your other uploads.

Congrats on Flux and good luck with the move - you're a busy woman.

If you've got a recording of Veronica, send it my way and I'll stick it on the site.

Best wishes from Manchester.
