Sky Babies are sadly no more! Thanks to everyone who came to the gigs, bought the CD or supported them in anyway! All the band members are working on new projects. Lance Skybaby and Chris can be found playing acoustic gigs under the name Twitch of the Death Nerve, Lance has recently been in the studio along with Mike (ex Sky Babies drummer/JXIII) and Catty recording his material, Fil has joined Lucky Sixx and Skinny Pete has teamed up with Junction XIII.
Biography
Sky Babies are a rock 'n' roll band from Newbury, Berkshire who released their second CD, 'A Year of Living Dangerously' in May 2006. After playing many gigs around Berkshire and forming a strong, local fan base, they are ready to go everywhere with their new line-up. Lance and Chris share guitar and vocal duties, with new additions, bassist Skinny Pete and Fil Satan on drums. 'A Year of Living Dangerously' tells tales of wasted weekends, destructive relationships and finding salvation in sound. Taking influences from their favourite bands, including The Wildhearts, Supersuckers, Steve Earle and a healthy dose of the Beach Boys. Passionate and dedicated to the music they make, Sky Babies are fired up for the future of the band.
