Sky Blu has soul! When she sings, you KNOW what she's talking about! She is from Houston, Texas, where she began performing professionally at the age of 13! Influenced by the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and Etta James, she traveled to New Orleans, where she performed at the World Famous Pat O'Brien's and thrilled audiences with her soulful singing and get-down piano playing. Sky Blu was soon asked to perform in Las Vegas, on a two-week engagement at the Desert Inn Hotel. By the end of that two weeks, she had booked engagements in Vegas for the entire next year. Well, she never went home. She performed at all the major venues in Las Vegas, and toured with her band from Orlando to Los Angeles, and most points in between. When Sky Blu met her producer, David Longoria, of Del Oro Music, they instantly connected. Her debut single, Leave Me Alone, is being featured in a surprise major movie coming out next fall! Her self-titled debut CD, This is SKY BLU, demonstrates the incredible range of her abilities, from the blues she's known for, to smooth jazz, dance music, and even get-down funk!
