Sounds Like
Skycadia
The fourth band of the night was Leamington based six-piece Skycadia. Hard and heavy Rock with a hardcore edge – it’s a sound that bursts with aggression, melody and energy. A powerful vocal three-piece powers their sound forward with Mike and Louis delivering some impressive layered harmonies cut through with Kyle’s, raw and angry screams to great effect. Well-written material with strong jump/sing-along choruses yet it is in their performances where the band really stood-out. Supremely confident and clearly enjoying themselves they have a great stage presence and the energy in their music is aptly reflected (if not multiplied) in their onstage antics.
