I have already met the most important person in my life and that is my husband.

I have traveled around the world met so many wonderful people and made life long friends. It is not so much who I would like to meet, as it is more going back to several countries again. Australia, Ireland and Scotland are so beautiful, the culture, the landscape, the people and so much more. I never made it to Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo and some day I hope to do so. Ireland and Scotland the folklore and music is beyond compare and I hope to return to both again some day.

Jeremy Duggins - The Gift
The song "The Gift" is a true story about a friend of Jeremy Duggins' two sons. His youngest son, Peyton, was diagnosed with cancer just after his first birthday. Peyton was going through treatments and people in the community were doing benefits for them. They were getting ready to go to a benefit when Peyton's older brother, who was nine at the time, ran back in the house. They didn't know what he was doing but when they got back home later that night, they found out. Ethan had put all of his money in an envelope and placed it on his parents bed with a note. He had given his parents the money to use for his little brother. When they saw the money and the note, they began to cry and talk about how much they loved their children and talk about how good God has been to them during this time. As Jeremy Duggins heard about this story, he just started putting it into a song for them to have.

As a parent who has lost a child after months of illness, this song touched my heart very deeply. The first time I listened to it, I had both goose bumps and tears. No other song expresses how we as parents are Blessed by our children and many times we truly do not realize that until something happens to bring it home in our minds! My daughter Mia, though her time on this earth was short was "My Gift". Now She is God's lil Gift, where some day I too will be with her and able to hold her in my arms once again.

Thank you Jeremy for writing this song. Peyton's parent are Blessed to have you as a friend to do this for them. This song will be cherished forever by many.

    I have had a very talented young lady in my list for a while now. I have seen, read, but never commented back to her witty and many times, inspirational status messages and bulletins. Last evening or rather the wee hours of the morn, I saw another of her bulletins. I read it and as the content stuck with me, I finally made a comment back to her and being the wee hours of the morn, sleep deprived and my usual smart arse self, I did so with humor.

    After I sent my comment, I started to really for the first time read her profile, I mean really read it, not just a quick glance here and there, but a full in depth read. I clicked on her banner links, the more I found about her, the more impressed I was with her, not just for her musical talents and believe me she is VERY talented young lady, but I was impressed with her as a person. The inner beauty of her, as I read, I learned this lady has a heart full of love that cares for her fellow man, woman and child. A heart as big as Texas, as we say here in Texas.

    So who is this lady, you are wondering. It is "Ronica Coldiron" and I wish to here and now, thank her for all that she does for her fellow person, friend and stranger alike......

    My love for music is rooted deep with in my heart & soul.

    Since I was a wee child I have memories of my Irish Great Grandmother singing Irish tunes as she worked about her house, hence my love of the Irish Ballards and folksongs. My Grandfather was a guitar strummer, he couldn't sing a lick, but lordy he sure could pick that guitar. He some times tried to sing the current Country tune of the times, much to all of those with in hearing distance dismay..LOL, more often than not thou he would just sit there and pick at the guitar until he had the song down pat. He also played the old mountain music comprising of bluegrass, folk songs and hicabilly. I loved it when my Grandfather picked up that guitar and would quietly find a spot near by and listen for hours.

    When I went off on my own, I developed a whole different love of music, more towards 50's & early rock & roll with a little beatnic thrown in for good measure.

    Over the years I came back to country music, gospel, bluegrass and folk music, but I still consider myself well rounded when it comes to my music taste. Shoot there are even a few Raps songs I like..LOL

    The Lovell Sisters feature the tight harmonies of The Lovell Sisters with an innovative fusion of country, folk, and contemporary acoustic music. They have toured from their hometown of Calhoun, GA to perform in over 24 states, Ireland, and Norway.

    The Lovell Sisters won NPR’s “Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor” National Teen Talent Competition 2005 and released their debut album, entitled When Forever Rolls Around, later that year. They are currently hard at work on their second project.

    Jessica, Megan, and Rebecca began taking classical violin and piano lessons at age five. The sisters sang in their church choir and were members of string quartets and youth symphonies. Nearly four years ago, they strayed from their classical roots to pursue the instrumentation and improvisation of traditional music. The Lovell Sisters now bring youthful vigor and a wide variety of musical influences to their live performances.



    Jessica Lovell (fiddle / vocals), 22, began classical violin at age 5 and became heavily involved in symphonies and quartets. She was co-principle of the 2nd violin section of the SAU Symphony Orchestra at 15. Jessica now has a fiddling style that reflects her classical background. As the eldest sister, Jessica sings much of the lead vocals and helps to keep the band organized and moving forward.

    Megan Lovell (resophonic guitar / vocals), 19, studied classical violin and piano for more than 10 years but, after hearing Jerry Douglas (of Alison Krauss and Union Station), chose to pursue a passionate interest in the resophonic guitar (or dobro).     Rebecca Lovell (mandolin / vocals), 17, also studied classical violin and piano, but strayed from the classical fold to play mandolin. May 2006, Rebecca became the first woman and youngest contestant to win the MerleFest International Mandolin Competition. Rebecca writes much of the original material performed by the band and finds it helpful to play mandola, guitar, banjo, and piano while composing.
