Music
the knife, swans, coil, cocteau twins, skinny puppy, phoenecia, clark, telefon tel aviv, mouse on mars, venetian snares, feist, richard devine, proem, cage, pan sonic, modeselektor, lady sovereign, casino vs japan, hrvatski, ladytron, joy division, junior boys, silversun pickups, radiohead, download, the cure, marumari, haujobb, on! air! library!, machine drum, dead can dance, the orb, goldfrapp, phonem, bonobo, download, arovane, ulrich schnauss, rasputina, daedelus, aesop rock, swans, m.i.a., deru, biosphere, lali puna, godflesh, sofa surfers, astrobotnia, my bloody valentine, pogues, muslimgauze, riow arai, monolake, lexaunculpt, boards of canada, front 242, deadbeat, yma sumac, twilight circus, murcof, funki porcini, plaid, autechre, slowdive, amon tobin, four tet, tool, brian eno, prefuse 73, public enemy, tom waits, and sometimes a little satyricon to clear the rainbows out of my head. also, my favorite song would sound something like dave matthews being fed into a wood chipper.
Movies
the big lebowski, showgirls, battle royale, aliens, microcosmos, starship troopers, heat, blade runner, traffic... really anything with insects, giant insect-like aliens, strippers, zombies, guns, or lots of cocaine. any combination of the above is bonus. syriana. the bourne *. the descent. suspiria. institute bejamenta. baraka. happiness. strange days. final destination. requiem for a dream. anything jarmusch, lynch, kaufman, coens, kurosawa, jeunet, besson, fincher, soderbergh, fulci, peter jackson or involving crispin glover. open water is the scariest movie i have ever seen, but i have this thing with sharks. i have to say i really appreciated the coming of age/rags to low-rent hooker story that was blue crush. if she was attacked by a shark during the surfing competition (which she _lost_ because she was too busy whoring herself out to the rich football hero -- how's that for a strong leading character?), it would definitely be my favorite movie ever. even more so if they included dave matthews being fed into a wood chipper. oh, and:
Television
everyone who says no is lying. so, yes - but almost exclusively via dvd/download as commercials give me aneurysms. six feet under was the best thing i have ever seen. entourage, extras, lost, arrested development, sopranos, the wire, deadwood, aqua teen hunger force, strangers with candy, mr. show, kids in the hall, family guy, south park, wonder showzen, robot chicken... it's all crack. documentaries about string theory or parasites. no reservations. iron chef. animal planet. planet earth. blue planet. marathon viewings of twin peaks. lists of tv shows really tell you a lot about a person. i almost feel like i know myself better now. don't you?
Books
currently: death by black hole - neil degrasse tyson, the history of pi - petr beckmann, o'reilly's learning javascript & learning php 5, instruction manual for the novation xiosynth, fabric of the cosmos by brian greene, doors of perception by aldous huxley, kitchen confidential by anthony bourdain. the best book ever is snake 'n' bacon's cartoon cabaret. i challenge you to find a finer piece of literature.

About me:
if there's one thing i hate, it's unnecessary apostrophe's, redundant exclamation point's, and the inability to do simple math!!!!
i am an open book. unfortunately, a lot of the pages have been ripped out.
Who I'd like to meet: an enigma, shrouded in mystery, wrapped in bacon.
rara avises. people who recognize the simultaneous beauty and absurdity of life, do at least one thing that could qualify as creative, or at the very least spend more time thinking than talking.
globetrotting omnivores. the ambitious. expats. functional alcoholics. a winning lotto ticket.
also people who want to go clubbing. not just baby harper seals.
Unfortunately for you I only have about 30 more comments to leave out of 160. That means my creativity and motivation have made me lazy and prone to rambling and unnecessary comments. You're welcome. I'm trying to leave a comment on everyone's page.
I guess that means you'll be on the Blue List? Either way you're fucked :D
I don't know why people like to fool themselves into believing what they just saw and heard with there own eyes isn't a reality as soon as the video makes a biblical reference. Biblical reference or not, these camps ARE here now and it's only a matter of time before the government starts implementing martial law.
For years ago there were at least eighty adult Americans that were willinginly micro-chipped. I can only imagine that number has at least tripled since then, as I don't have the stomach to research it. I wonder long it will be before our government demands all Americans to be micro-chipped. Look up Six Sigma. They are the company that introduced and implemented the human micro-chip. You may have to do some digging as that information is not as easily accessable on the web as it was back in 2003. They now guise themselves as a company that helps employers get more work out of their employees, (so to speak), and more bang for there buck.
