The bands featured will be from a mixture of locations across the uk and the compliation will be available in a digital only format from all good digital retailers.
ANALOGUE I/O
Analogue I/O is a studio project created by Thom Smith encapsulating the sound of ambient tape music with a dark cinematic edge.
His Debut EP “Boat Club” was recorded in his own studio and has a real subtle beauty, capturing the images of distant landscapes and far away places as are the inspiration behind the music. The featured tracks consist mainly of looped riffs fused with digitally processed sounds. A large array of instruments were used throughout the recording.
Although there are no plans to promote the record in a live environment Thom will still be working on future projects for Analogue I/O and further collaborations with other artists.
The EP "Boat Club" is scheduled for release on 28th April 2008 and will be available as a free digital download for the first week of its release.
CHARLIE BARNARD
Recently resuming solo mode after leaving London group Nazca Plain, East London’s Charlie Barnard brings out his 3rd album, Ivory Serpents & the Starving Tree, his first on fledgling independent Skyeyesea Records. Channeling the spirit of psychedelic princes like Syd Barrett and Robyn Hitchcock along with a smudge of urban cowboy, Barnard’s latest effort takes a more serious approach than previous releases, brimming with biblical hallucinations and psychedelic pop delusions. Ivory Serpents & the Starving Tree is indeed a decidedly dark step forward, uncovering a rich tapestry of lyrics and melodies, as Charlie says, it’s a bit “Gnarled voices, Methedrine cowboys with junk smiles.”
Ivory Serpents & The Starving Tree is released on 28th July 2008.
THIS UNIQUE MUSEUM
Sometimes its the quiet ones that you have to watch out for, like a faint whisper in your ear that makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.
This Unique Museum is the brainchild of Ben Fitton, mixing the gentle pace of low-fi indie rock with the ambient sound of shoe gazing dream pop.
The New Album 'Chapter One: A Catalogue Of Madness & Melancholy - The Complete Sessions (Remastered)' will be released on 8th September 2008.

KATIE MALCO
A spine-chillingly beautiful songwriter who could break your heart in a verse and then mend it by the chorus. With intimate honey-drenched vocals over swells of indie folk guitar..... what more could you ask for???
