This talented trendsetter is a proven writer, singer, arranger, performer and producer. A native of Chicago, Aaron Sledge's vision is to unveil a new face in the gospel music industry. While preparing to release his first solo project, he desires to open doors for other artists who need an opportunity. Current plans for a state of the art studio, music mentoring and artist development program are on the way.

He also sang background for Smokie Norful on the BET Celebration of Gospel and appeared on Yolonda Adams, "Day by Day" DVD recording.
As a songwriter, Aaron has been featured on Mario's "Turning Point" album for the single entitled, "Here I Go Again". He has worked and gleaned from such great writers and producers as Warren Campbell, Harold Lilly, Ramsey Lewis, Nephew, Tyrese, Michelle Williams, Eric Dawkins and Bab Boy recording artists "Day 26" just to name a few.
Nothing makes a better foreground singer than being a strong background singer, and if you follow Aarons career, you will find him in every genre of music today. Aaron has had the pleasure to also tour the globe and work with artists such as:

Aaron believes that his music is a breath of fresh air, and other would agree using such words as "refreshing" and "easy listening" to describe what they hear when listening to Aaron. The sign of true musicianship is that of one who can create not a new sound, but a culture of music that is non exclusive and yet consistant with the times. Aaron is at the forefront of making sure that his music does just that.
The music (ministry) of Aaron Sledge has a unique and defenitive purpose, and though it entails much, it can be sumed up in just a short brief statement.
The mission of the music is to RESCUE & RECOVER those that are lost, those that have been wounded, and those that feel that they have exhausted every avenue of changing their lives.
The sound of the music that God has given Aaron can be referred to as OXYGEN MUSIC, given life, giving breath, and giving hope to a new genre of music.
