Twilights of Sand update: Japanese Charts and European edition

The amazing brand new album of Skylark "Twilights of Sand" is finally available in the Italian and European markets following the incredible success in Japan where the album stayed on the Japanese Amazon rock/metal chart for 30 days, occupying position number one for 10 days and position number two (only behind the new Van Halen release) for another 10 days.
BEAT THAT!

The album also reached the top 100 global chart remaining there for 15 days, reaching it's peak at number 12 and ending 32nd in the second week of January (best western act ahead of artists such as Adele and Lady Gaga).

The european edition has just been published by the Italian Label Underground Symphony.

Back from successful 5th Japan tour

Skylark would like to thank all the Japanese fans for the incredibile and amazing affection they keep on showing everytime the band hits Japan.
Despite the lack of support by the major media, the 5th Japan tour was successful only becuase of this strong, incredible and genuine support.
From Tokyo to Osaka, passing by Nagoya (first Skylark appeareance in this city) Japanese fans never let the band down as they have been doing for 16 years.

Skylark is still the best Italian Rock and Metal band in the Far East area by number of people who have attended live gigs, a supremacy lasting from 2003.

The band wants to reserve a special mention to Rubicon Music in the person of its A&R Mr. Takuro Imazu and Mr. Nobu at Gravity Rock Bar whose contribution to this 5th live tour was fundamental.

SKYLARK 全部!!!

The new Skylark album “SKYLARK 全部” is finally ready to enter the worldwide market.

It will be released in Japan on the 27th of October via Rubicon Records.
Mastered At Sterling Sound by George Marino it features old classic hits completely re-recorded plus two brand new songs.
Metal Master David Defeis (Virgin Steele) appears on song “Symbol of Freedom” performing an amazing duet with Kiara.

More editions (just self titled "SKYLARK") will be announced soon.

Renaissance Record announcement

Skylark would like to advise that US label Renaissance record does not hold anymore the rights to sell and distribute Skylark album in both, digital and physical ways.
The MP3 format presented on Amazon.com and other sites are so illegal, as some of the physical releases like our brand new self titled album for which they don't hold the rights.
Moreover they refuse to pay mechanical rights and royalties and they also refuse to be audited as per contract.
All the band that have contracts with this label should be aware that Renaissance closed its offices and refuses to give the address and contacts of the new location.
If things won't be solved in the near future Skylark will start a legal action against this unreliable record company.

SKYLARK AT THE TOP OF JAPANESE CHARTS AGAIN

At the same time of their 4th succesful Japanese tour, Skylark DVD "Divine Gates part 4-The live Gate" has been ranked for more than one month in the HMV top 50 Rock and POP Chart touching peak position number 4 (Number 2 in Heavy metal section only behind the newest Iron Maiden). Skylark DVD has also reached the number 1 in the Rock and Pop Daily Chart.

The band thanks one more time all their Japanese fans for the costant support and affection...

"Divine Gates part 4-The live Gate" has been printed in USA via Renaissance Records/Koch on 11th of August.

SKYLARK tops Japanese chart

One month in the top 50, reaching the third place only behind Bon Jovi and Dream Theater, followed by Velvet Revolver, Paul Mc Cartney, Marylin Manson, Linkin Park, Kamelot and Gotthard.
