New Blog Posted
I just posted a new blog for people interested in submitting photos to be featured in one of our upcoming issues. You do not have to be a model or have any experience at all, you can submit photos you already have that you took for my space if they fit the criteria. Make sure you read the blog first before submitting anything.
This opportunity is not just for the magazine. Your photos could be used for other purposes such advertisements to promote upcoming events or contests etc.
If you have any questions after reading please let me know.

Welcome to Skylar Inc's official my space and thank you for taking the time to check it out. For those of you who are new to Skylar and are wondering what it is please read my blog here on my space. I posted a bio which will let you know who I am and what Skylar is all about. For those of you who are not new to Skylar I want to thank you for all of the support you have given to me for the past 6 years and for believing in Skylar it really means a lot to me. This has been an amazing experience and I still have so much confidence in it. Although it is not well known yet and has a long way to go I am very proud of it and it really has come such a long way. It started out as fashion magazine, but has grown into so much more than that which is why I changed the name from Skylar magazine to Skylar Inc. It's no longer just about fashion it's about inspiration, beauty and so much more. I really have put a lot of hard work into this and I think in the end all of that hard work will pay off. I think with all of the support you all have given it will help make Skylar a success. So, again thank you:)
I have posted a lot of new blogs and there are more coming soon. I have some great opportunities that you should definitely check out. One of them is our photo contest. The photo contest is not a photography contest or a modeling contest. It is for people who are photogenic and just like to take pictures. You do not need to be a model it's just like taking pics like you would for my space basically. There will be different challenges through out the contest and the winner will get to be on one of our covers and will also get a $25.00 gift certificate to Forever 21. 2nd place will get a $10.00 gift certificate to Target and 3rd Place gets a $10.00 gift certificate to Bath & Body. So, if you love the camera and you think you have what it takes give it a try.
I am also starting up a new modeling program called Skylar's Models in Training Program. I am very excited about it and I can't wait to start it. I'm hoping to start sometime in January if I can get enough girls signed up so definitely read the MIT information blog. If you are interested there is a sign up form in the blog. Both of these opportunities are for females only ages 15 and up, all shapes and sizes, race and background and experience levels from 0 experience to lots of experience.

Who I'd like to meet:
A great way to help and show your support is by donating. Your donation will help pay for our supplies and expenses including printing, shipping, as well as advertising, web hosting and domain services. It will also go toward our MIT program so we can make it better in the future and will support our models futures. Our mission is to give our models lots of exposure and to help them become successful. In order for us to accomplish this I have to be able to keep Skylar running and hopefully someday make it a success. If Skylar becomes successful then our models become successful. The more exposure Skylar gains the more our models will gain. Your donation will also help provide items such as clothes, jewelry, accessories and makeup for models and MIT's to use for modeling purposes and for training. There are a lot of things we are hoping to get to do in the future such as traveling, professional photo shoots and much more. So, your donation would mean a lot to all of us here at Skylar Inc.
