Skyline Studios was set up in 1994 by producer/engineer Jez Larder who has worked on tracks by David Bowie, Simply Red, Estelle and more recently One Eskimo and Amy Macdonald. Skyline Studios provides an affordable professional 48 track recording service. With two live rooms we can cater for all types of bands and our comprehensive midi facilities make it ideal for all types of programming work. As part of Skylines' commitment to promoting new talent we offer discounted recording sessions to unsigned artists and young musicians. The studio has ample on-site parking and is situated minutes away from Epsom station.
Skyline is a non profit making organisation and has received funding from Surrey Youth Development Service, Princes Trust and National Lottery Fund.
Our rates for unsigned artists are only £160p/day 10-5pm including an engineer or £30p/hr min of 3 hours.
In addition to the studio we also run a tape/video transfer service, so if you have anything on cassette, 1/4" reel to reel, video we can digitize this to CD or DVD. Email info@skylinestudios.co.uk for rates.
If you are in a band or write songs/sing and live in Epsom & Ewell we have subsidised recording sessions available on Monday evenings 6-9pm @ £10 per session. Places are very limited and have to be pre-booked in advance. Ages 14-18yrs only. Proof of age and address is required!!!
