| About Skyline West |
Skyline West was formed in January of 2007 as the result the reconfiguration of a couple groups, the disbanding of a couple groups, and the additions of a couple new players. Throw that all together, change mandolin players a few times, and by the end of '07 you have Skyline West.
Unfortunately, things change and so do bands. Skyline West is no longer performing as a group, but here are some updates on our "former" members: Andrew Herndon (guitar) has recently graduated from Mississippi State University and relocated to Wisconsin to further pursue his career as a landscape architect. Jody Elmore (banjo) joined nationally renowned dobro player, Tim Graves', band in March of this year on guitar and baritone vocals. Since that time, he has also made an appearance on the Grand Ole Opry with bluegrass legend, Bobby Osborne, and The Rocky Top X-Press.
