Down comes the cleansing rain
There now flows a river of blood
Down comes the hail of merciless pain
The world becomes a puddle of mud
Stupidity has left its stench stain
Now death is all that remains

Why are people so foolish?
They deserved to die
I don't want to hurt people
But they hurt me with their lies
I don't want death
But they put death in my eyes
They took my soul
I took their lives

Everything ended at the start
Since birth she had been braving the dark
Forever waiting to see the light
Since birth she's left her bloody mark
Now she waits for the peace after the fight
The world is saved from the all consuming
All believing and all confusing blight

There hides compassion under her mask
She takes it off to kiss a final goodbye
She opens her clenched fists of smite
To reach out to the illuminating sky
As she falls into her peaceful cask
Winters Daughter finally rests tonight
