| About Skyway Jazz |
|
Skyway Jazz offers it's listeners some of the most versatile instrumental and vocal jazz in the Tampa Bay area. The Skyway Sound is an eclectic mix of traditional jazz standards of the past with the more modern sounds of smooth jazz, funk and rythm and blues. Our range of material, flexible instrumentation and musical skill allow us to provide a pleasurable listening experience for venues large or small, quiet or robust!
The Skyway sound is driven by a core quartet of guitar, saxophone, upright and electric bass and percussion. From Steely Dan and Grover Washington Jr. to Sinatra swing and Ellington ballads, we can also perform as a duo, trio, quartet or even quintet for larger venues. We have been a great choice for small restaurants, lounges and wine bars as well as larger clubs and private functions.
