I'm a fretless bass player, writer, graphic designer and web developer. Musically, I’m excited to be working again with long-time collaborators Peter Bertrand (drums) and Thomas Major (guitar) on a new original music trio. We are dusting off some old “Pink Bunnies on a Stick” tunes, and working on some new material. We are calling the band "Lepus-Arcticus" and soon we'll have a myspace site with new songs.
I’m also working with Peter on new tracks for his next Stop Gravity CD release, featuring him on acoustic guitar and vocals.
Ed Piedra and I are continuing to co-produce the latest Second Nature CD. www.secondnaturerockband.com The project is being recorded at Warren Amerman’s state-of-the-art Rotary Records Studio in West Springfield MA www.rotaryrecords.com.
I have been busy with my duties as Director on the Executive Committee of New Music Showcase, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an outlet for original music artists and bands. Check out our site: www.newmusicshowcase.tv
Who I'd like to meet: Musicians with a passion for originality. Let's jam!
Here is a partial clip of a tune recorded live with me on fretless bass, drummer David Maxwell and sax player Greg Ward. I call it Slabobian Mesh. (media player not visible when using Firefox browser)
Seems that we missed the boat on Les Paul. . .I think he is done performing, at least at his regular monday night at the Blue Note. . . dammit! Now its a mission to see Les play
There really is no other bass player. Well, maybe there are others, but I have been spoiled having had the honor to share stages with you. Thanks Randy for all your inspiring ways.
Great to hear from you. . . .hope all is well in MA despite the sobbing and moaning of Pats fans that is just barely audible here in NY. . .You should remind evveryone that I wanted to get a bunch of people, including you and Donna, down here for a monday night show at the Blue Note where Les Paul still plays every week. . . .
