Slagmark was founded November 1998 in the Norwegian coastal town Kristiansund. And after the demos "Maniq Lord","Art of War" and "Erase Christianity" we did the "Eradication" album in 2004 and was released the march 2005 on edgerunner records. The album made it possible for the band to tour and play a lot of conserts.
Unfortunately after some time both the bassist and the vocalist left the band, and Slagmark was left crippled for a brief period. But still the remaining three bandmembers Beist, Markspist and Geir prevailed, and started working on a new album. In the spring of 2006 Olve joined the ranks of the 13th Battalion Slagmark as a vocalist. After about a year he also started playing as bassist in the band. Slagmark is currently looking for a record deal after we had to kill the last company guy in a messy pit fight. There´s some material from our new album on the page currently. The style is a mix of black and death metal.

Vel, hun som synger går i klassen min så, det var egentlig bare ved en tilfeldighet at vi prøvde kvinnelig klarvokal... In audience er faktisk den sangen som er minst lik de andre sangene på demoen, siden de andre sangene er mer innenfor black/viking metal enn in audience. Uansett så takker vi for responsen, og vi kommer til å sparke baller som bare faen!
