Slapavision UK
Slapavision UK is a digital media enterprise based in Kent that currently has 5 main active divisions:
Slapavision Animation Studios
(2D/3D animation)
Slapavision Audio
(Studio facilities, recording facilities, dubbing, mastering, crew, technical advice, equipment)
Slapavision Graffik
(Graphic design, web graphics, TV/film/interactive graphics)
Slapavision Interactive
(Web, gaming and animation programming support)
Slapavision Post and Transfer
(Post-production facilities, 2D animation facilities, transfer facilities, color correction, Avid technicians, crew, advice)
Slapavision Productions
(Film/tv production, equipment, crew, technical advice)
Our company brand 'Slaphead Media' was originally inspired from troubled school days where a troubled media tutor discussed how people called him a Slaphead and smeared Mars bars into his windscreen. Just in case we didn't know how to spell Slaphead, he wrote it on the board. So along came Slaphead Productions and the rest shortly followed.
In 2008, following a 're-thinking' process, we re-branded as 'Slapavision UK'.
Idiotic Group
I co-own the Kent based entertainment enterprise, The Idiotic Group that includes these divisions:
The Idiotic Skateboarding Company
(Ramp/park design and construction, skate team, wheels, clothes, decks, accessories, etc)
Idiotic Films
[Subsidiary of Slaphead Productions]
(Co-produces productions in partnership with Slaphead Productions)
Idiotic Theatre
(Lighting, sound, pyrotechnic, and rigging equipment, crew, set design/construction, costume/makeup, technical advice)
Idiotic Wear
(Idiotic Company Branded Clothing design, manufacture and retail)
Showreels of client work and projects will be available for all this when this profile is properly designed and www.slapheadmedia.com & www.idioticgroup.com are up and running.
Current Productions
Untitled This Is Stupid! Project, and a whole bunch of others. What Me Does
On top of all the things associated to the above, I unfortunately do all this following stuff to:
Technical/stage management/theatre/stage. I regularly work voluntary for "fun" local Operatic Societies and community shows as well as some commercialised theatre group productions.
Stunt co-ordination, and stunt work. Meh, most recently got me on a 'very important' 'very expensive' 'Motion Picture' 'sequel' and that's all I'm gonna say.
'Carnie' (circus) stuff, I balance dangerously sharp knives on my nose and wreck my neck in by placing huge and massively weighted ladders, tables, chairs n stuff on my chin. Plus now I can safely perform some fire acts - poi, staff juggling, fire breathing (not a huge fan of), fireball faceoff?, basic stilt walking, basic aerial work including silk, rope, cocoon, globes/frames, still learning - unicycling/giraffe unicycling, advanced stilt walking, stilt acrobatics, backflips, frontflips, somersaults, tumbling, objected handstand, hand-walking and other acrobatic ventures.
Voice acting and other voice talent
Acting stage/film/TV - in some sense, really mostly in full costume for hidden camera comedy and street theatre.
Art direction - fun!
There's plenty of other boring/expensive/interesting/crappy/talent I can't be bothered to list (anymore) not that anyone cares anyway.
Software Resume
I AM QUALIFIED/EXPERIENCED/TALENTED/KNOWLEDGEABLE/TECHNICAL/REALLY REALLY RIDICULOUSLY COOL IN:
