Il gruppo si .. formato nel febbraio 2005.
Come spesso accade gli elementi hanno esperienze e gusti musicali molto diversi ed é proprio questa varietà di stili
che porta ad una particolare sonorità,
melodica ed energica al tempo stesso.
Da qui la scelta del nome, schiaffo sonoro,
che vuole sottolineare la personalità di ogni brano,
caratterizzata da una dinamica crescente ed accattivante.
...sono del 2007 gli appuntamenti più interessanti, tra i quali...
la semifinale al poprockcontest
la partecipazione a sammardenchia rock
la vittoria al rock river festival
ed il premio della critica ad artisti in vetrina
...2008?!? Anno sabbatico, di attesa e riflessione, problematico e non...
...ora siam di ritorno, con novità nella line up e ritrovata grinta...
slap.of.sound sono:
voce.Marco.Ianiro, nato a Trieste l’ 8 settembre 1974,
ha avuto svariate esperienze tra le quali due finali a Promomusic.
chitarra.solista.Simone.Gregorin, nato a Trieste il 13 ottobre 1973,
assieme a Marco ha condiviso le esperienze più interessanti,
quali le finali di Promomusic.
chitarra.ritmica.Kim.Varnier, nato a Trieste il 4 agosto 1974,
chitarrista in un duo e più tardi in una band punk-alternative.
basso.Andrea.Sommer, nato a Torino il 14 dicembre 1972,
ha suonato più spesso con Simone e Marco.
batteria.Daniele.Deiuri, nato a Monfalcone l'11 marzo 1980,
ha suonato in vari gruppi, tra i quali C-SIDE (tutt'ora) e Ronin.

slap.of.sound band came to life in late february 2005.
As often happens, the members of the band come
from different musical and artistic experiences
as well as different music and sound style influences,
and it’s this variety of styles, all mixed together,
that has created the particular sonorous, melodious tunes of the band,
but, at the same time, powerful and energetic.
It is from these characteristics that the band's name came about,
“the slap of sound”, that wants to emphasize the personality
(originality) of each song and which is defined
to captivate increasing song dynamics.
...the best gigs are from 2007, it was an interesting year for slap.of.sound activity,
involving many live performances... the most important are:
the semifinal at the poprockcontest
fantastic live & loud gig at sammardenchia rock
slap.of.sound won the rock river festival
and, at last, the critic award at artisti in vetrina
...2008?!? it has been a “Sabbatical” year of reflections
but also of maturation so....
hold on, 'cause slap.of.sound will be back soon
with an incredible innovate energy, and definitive new line up ;D

He had various interesting experiences such as two finals in Promomusic
contest.
lead.guitar.Simone.Gregorin, Trieste, Italy, oct. 13th 1973
He shared interesting experiences with Marco, such as Promomusic contest
finals.
rhythm.guitar.Kim.Varnier, Trieste, Italy, aug. 4th 1974
Guitarist in a duo and later in a local punk-alternative band.
bass.Andrea.Sommer, Turin, Italy, Dec. 14th 1972
Has mainly played together with Marco and Simone.
drums.Daniele.Deiuri, Monfalcone, Italy, March 11th 1980
He has been playing in various local bands such as Ronin
and still playing actively with C-SIDE band.
Daniele is the youngest and newest member of slap.of.sound.
In such a short time, he has fitted in well and has shown
a great response to the strict demand of the band. Well done!!!
Tra non molto inizieranno e rimbalzare nella rete interminabili code di bit che che si ricomporranno in mail di auguri, di buone feste, di un grande 2010 etc... Sicuramente è aprrezzabile essere ottimisti, nessuno vuole negare il diritto alla speranza, ma pensiamo che non ci sia molto da festeggiare dato l'attuale momento storico e sociale. Fermi tutti.... non vogliamo fare "pippotti" sulla politica o sull'economia... vogliamo solo darvi uno spunto per una riflessione!!

Non auguratemi "Buon Natale" fino a quando... un muro dividerà dei bambini dal loro futuro, gente inerme morirà sotto bombe umanitarie, chi lavora sarà sacrificato sull'altare del profitto, il progresso inquinerà il futuro dei nostri figli.
