Ever since I was a little bitty Slaptone, I've loved music and creative movement. Now that I am part of Environmental Encroachment I am able to use both those loves together as I play bass drum and march to the music.
I have been with EE for almost two years (at the end of the summer) and with the Chicago Aissawa Project since its inception last year. I play drums and percussion with both bands.
I also love to join my friends in drum circles and you will often find me along side of my friend Hazel
UPDATE - OCTOBER 20TH - PLEASE READ!
Right now I believe that one of the most important things going on in the world is right here in the US. We have a chance to change the downward spiral that the current administration has created for our country. I support Barack Obama and I'm going to vote early - today. I encourage you to vote early too - it's less crowded, and if you can do it now, there won't be a chance that something might come up to keep from voting on election day such as illness. If you have a little spare time and can make some phone calls or visits to help elect Obama, you can volunteer like I am by going to www.barackobama.com and clicking on volunteer. Also on the site, you can find out where to go to vote early in your state. It's time for change.
I'd like you to have the chance to watch this wonderful video that my friend Robin and her husband made with some other artists. I'm sure you will find it inspirational, as I do. Please turn off the sound on the music above so you can hear the sound on the video as you watch.
ahh the sweet undulating sea i can see it now as i slip on the ice damn Midwest winter... anyway looking forward to your return... bring some salt water home... xox HAG
"Bobzilla is looking for crimes at the scene of the clue." (Mood: cynical)
How sad. Seems like you would be better served trying to look for what happened instead of looking for crimes.
It was a little play on words and apparently not a very good one. It was supposed to imply that I felt that some things were happening backwards in my life; that instead of looking for clues at the scene of a crime, that things had gotten turned around and... But whether my wordplay is good or not, looking for crimes is not really what I'm doing right now. What I'm actually doing is surveying my options.
haha the picture is from a while back. Like spring. Elyse just sent it to me. Basically I was trying to fit an empty beer can into a case of empty glass bottles because it all needed to be thrown away. The can wasn't fitting so, you know how I am, I started to punch it in until it fit and I hit the top of the glass bottles a few times. Didn't hurt so much at the time but the day after I was hurting :)
Alas, no. Thank you for asking. My wife has birthday festoon planned for me today. We were at Preston and Emily's Synphorium last night and it was amazing. Have fun, give your drum a slap for me!
