The core influence in Slattern's music is real life. Not some Hollywood incantation or false representation of what life ISN'T... after all, personal pain makes for mightier material. And if life isn't painful, then you aren't alive.
Of course there are a slew of musical influences as well. But we won't list them here so as not to confuse you into thinking that just because they influence us as individuals that we somehow aspire to or believe we sound like them. Whomever it is that they are ;)
After a long hiatus Slattern returns with the premiere of their second CD "Piranhavore"! Slattern is a Baltimore based band that expects to expand their horizons after being signed with ZooMoozik records and look forward to the grit and the grind.
