[Biographie]
Slaughtery est pourvu d'un passé musical très différent de celui connu aujourd'hui. Le groupe, originaire de Huy, voit le jour sous le nom de "Mürgas" vers le milieu de 2004 par l'initiative de Quentin et Loris, deux guitaristes ayant pour souhait de jouer du True Black Metal. Ils furent rejoints par Simon à la basse et François (ex-Gargaryss) au chant tandis que Joakim intégra le groupe 5 mois plus tard en tant que batteur. Ils purent ainsi commencer les répétitions en 2005.
Les premières compositions finirent très rapidement par ne plus répondre aux exigences du groupe. C'est alors que celui-ci décida de changer de style musical, et dériva donc dans un style alliant tant le Black que le Death Metal, mélange plus technique et plus puissant. Les mois qui suivirent ne comblèrent à nouveau pas les attentes des membres et le groupe se sépara.
Plus d'un an après leur formation, ces 5 musiciens se retrouvèrent et décidèrent de reprendre le projet. Début 2006, ils se mirent à composer cette fois-ci dans un style de Death Metal confirmé, s'efforçant d'accroître le coté technique poussif tant recherché. Ce fut l'occasion de remettre le groupe à jour, en changeant le nom qui deviendra Slaughtery, et en oubliant les anciennes compositions, au profit des nouvelles, devenues sensiblement différentes.
Cependant, les membres se retrouvèrent très vite réduit. Quentin quitta le groupe peu après la reconstitution de ce dernier et François passa donc à la guitare. Nicolas intégra le groupe début août 2007 pour officier en tant que chanteur. Après avoir perdu François (R.I.P. brother), ils sortirent leur premier cd et décidèrent de continuer dans le même esprit, plus lourd et technique que jamais.
Slaughtery a joué avec des groupes tels que Catarrhal, Neverlight Horizon, Massive Charge, Hypnosis, Emeth, Welkin et bien d'autres.

Slaughtery is endowed with a musical past very different from that known today. The band, native to Huy (Belgium), comes into this world under the name of "Mürgas" in the middle of 2004 by Quentin and Loris' initiative, two guitarists who wants to play True Black Metal. They were joined by Simon in bass and François (ex-Gargaryss) in singing while Joakim inserted the band 5 months later as drummer. They could so begin repetitions in 2005.
The first compositions ended very fast up not answering any more requirements of the band. It is while this one decided to change musical style, and derived therefore in a style alloying both Black and Death Metal, more powerful mixture. The months which followed did not fill up wait of the members and the band splited.
A little more than a year after their formation, these 5 musicians met themselves and decided to take back the group. That's how at the beginning of 2006, they candle to compromise in a style of confirmed Death Metal, trying hard to augment such a searched technical and powerful quoting. This event was opportunity to update the band, by changing the name which will become "Slaughtery", and by forgetting the ancient compositions for the news, lightly different.
However, the line up changed a little bit. Quentin left the band shortly after its reconstitution and François passed so to the guitar. Nicolas integrated the band during the beginning August, 2007 to officiate as lead singer. After losing François in April 2008 (R.I.P. brother), they've decide to make out their first CD and they've decided to continue in the same spirit, but more heavier and technicalier than ever.
