The story of the alternative rock band Slave called shiver began sometime in 2006 and will continue until time indefinite.
We met and we make music. That's essentially it. 3 guys and a girl.
Fate has been generally kind to us so far, we've met wonderful people, musicians, made friends and gained well-wishers from all over the ever-shrinking world. Lots of moments to cherish and wonder about - I mean were we really in that place? Our first radio gig on a Dutch radio station, playing before 200 people for the first time and seeing them jump madly to our Rage cover, someone using one of our songs to promote their book. Nice. Also the lows were important. Finding the right personality match, frustrating patches of a limbo existence while we looked and waited for providence to send us the right angel(s), learning to grasp the ropes of the business side of the music business, perfecting ourselves as musicians along the way, finding ourselves as well as delighting in mundane rehearsal sessions. Evolution can be a strange thing.
