SLAVE DRIVER is a unique, Dark, Hardcore, Gothic Metal Band. Their Classic CD "JUDGEMENT DAY" released in 1998 was the beginning of the end. The track L.A.'s Burning is included in the Low Budget, Sci-fi Thriller "CARNIVORE", and is also on the films Original Motion Picture Soundtrack out on Dark Star Records as of August 20, 2002. Their latest release is “Resurrection in Black” a three song EP of all new material and is now available at itunes. Before "Slave Driver" the band went under the name "Metal Shop" and ripped it up throughout the 80's. Metal Shop is also available on itunes.

The Day Of The Dead
Dark Star Records will be distributing a Full Length Horror Film entitled "Jezebeth" in 2009. The movie will feature several Dark Star Records Artists as well as three contest winners from the Ultimate Band Search. Also, Jeff Swan from Slave Driver plays the role of Reverend Blandy
Hey! Our Debut album, "Yetzer Ha'Ra", will be released worldwide in October 2nd by Twilight Records. You can listen to songs from the album in our Myspace page, and you are more than welcome to comment and tell us what you think.
Thanks to everyone who came out to this years Metal Mergence. This was the third year for Metal Mergence and it was an awesome event. A special thanks to Scott Jackson for producing another great show. This year the Headliners were Dark Star Records own "RIVAL" who tore up the stage. All the bands were great. And there was even a record signing. Shatter Their Illusion signed a record deal with Dark Star Records. Congradulations to Shatter Their Illusion.

Dark Star Records signs cello fronted metal band Angher. Band leader cellist/guitarist Greg Korniluk was featured on the Apocalyptica album "Reflections". Soon after Greg would write "Hidden Truth" an album featuring music that mixes cello, guitar and bass producing a powerful, heavy and Unique sound that is simply "ANGHER". Look for the new CD/DVD Combo "Hidden Truth" coming soon from Dark Star Records.
