Resident dj Anon Salon 2005-> present.... Resident dj Fuzzy Hause 2000-2002.... various mystery appearances through out the Bay Area, and beyond... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... As the resident Selekta of Anon Salon SF, I opened the format to many styles and schools. Instead of just booking my cousin Larry and myself for every show, I threw the doors wide open. I booked Bedroom Heros, Old Schoolers, New Schoolers, people you've heard of... and people you haven't. .... We changed a lot of things. First of all was the idea that if you didn't recognize a name on the bill, the music wasn't going to be good. Look, Sucka, nobody's heard of everyone that rips. This is Anon Salon, we bring it Large and LOVELY. Never heard of dj EatsHisOwnLeg ?! dj Chupacabra ?! You got a lot to learn Sucka !.... So we crossed formats, gear, teams, genres. And... wow. .... 2x4 sessions, brutal tagups, hardware vs turntables, dogs on cats, you name it. I was a pretty damn spicy hey-wheres-my-ketamine dj before this Bass Gladiator show, evolved even further... We were doing hardware mashups before there was this thing or that thing. I have been on vinyl forever, and I've loved battling all sorts of players and machines with vinyl. But, then... .... It was an acid soaked night with Novatron and Ruffhauser that I realized that maybe I should shred hardware too.... now I'm a slave to the KORGs. .... So, I've been working mostly in hardware and learning Ableton and Logic on the back burner... for now... these tracks are just experiments as I fill out my skills in the synth / sampler... recorded live, no ablteon, no editing. pretty tasty tho, enjoy !
