關於我：
WHAT IS THE SLAY-A-THON:
It's a full day of watching some of the best of the best episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel", meeting and laughing with other "fans," and having a great time while simultaneously raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois. You are not required to attend the entire event. Stay for the day or stop by for your favorite episodes.
Now, you may ask "How can watching 'Buffy' and 'Angel' raise money? If that were the case I'd already be rich. Hooray!"
We're able to raise money because people who attend the marathon get friends, family, and co-workers to "sponsor" them - just like with a walkathon, or other fundraising events of that type. Add the auction proceeds to the sponsor dollars and we’ll make a substantial donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.
WHERE IS THE SLAY-A-THON?
We will be in the Show Room at Dave & Buster's - Goldcoast in Downtown Chicago. The address is 1030 N. Clark Street (Clark at Oak). Phone is (312) 943-5151. Directions are available from the Dave & Buster's Web site.
WHEN IS THE SLAY-A-THON?
The 2008 Slay-A-Thon date is TBD. It begins at 11:00 AM and ends at midnight (12:00 AM). You are not required to attend the entire event. Stay for the day or stop by for your favorite episodes.
