The sweet moans, grunts, slaps, and screams one usually associates with the magical act of making love.
The Slaz have not practiced together in quite awhile, but the future still remains bright for this trio, turned quartet, turned back to trio again. Molly has left the band to become smarter by going to Grad School, so we wish her the best. In the meantime, the band continues to write fresh material, hoping to one day release a second album. But be sure to check out the videos below. We may not be making new songs together right now, but we're still working with what we've done. Check back for occasional updates, and you may just get lucky and find a new song, or an old one redone.

We just made a brand new music video for one of our classic old songs, "Suburban Girl." Check it out below.
Here is a third song from our last performance at Bill's Blues in Evanston, Illinois. As a band as a whole, this seems to be everyone's favorite song — "Dominick's Girl." If you don't have a Dominick's in your town, you should just know that it's a huge grocery store chain around these parts. Enjoy it.
In early December, The Slaz went into Chicago's NPR studios on Navy Pier and recorded two rough tracks for the station's fledgling Vocolo program (vocolo.org). You may have heard the two tracks above. In addition, we did a brief in-studio interview with Vocolo personality, Brian Babylon. Not sure if or when that's scheduled to air, but we'll let you know. However, in the meantime, here's a little video of the event set to "Eat Our Dreams." Note the drum contraption that Matt had to familiarize himself with in all of about 8 minutes. It's a lot different than a good ol' fashioned kit. Anyway, enjoy, and let us know what you think.
Here are a couple clips from our last show at Bill's Blues in Evanston, Illinois. This was one of our favorite shows. For whatever reason, we just had a lot of fun. Let us know what you think.
The first song is called "Windy." Written by bassist Mikey. The second song is drummer Matt's masterpiece, "Shotgun Sadie." Enjoy!

This will be our first reviewed show, so we're pulling out all the stops! Plus the other bands we're playing with are awesome! It will be very strange, it will be very anti-hork-mangler-esque and it will also very prevent genital gangrene...
If you've never been to one of our shows, this'll be the one to see! The new band configuration is tops and there's not a hint of inter-dimensional porkchop resin to mar the passion. So drag your meat-robot shells to Das Mutiny & get a free CD and enter the wormhole giveaway lottery and the free anti-gravity jockstrap raffle!
In response to your bulletin I would agree with Mikey that "Suburban Girl" rocks. Fans don't always need profound lyrics to rock out! Sometimes we like silly pop songs. At least I do. Hope you guys come to L.A. soon!
Assemble at this coordinate of reality and gonnoreah will never clutch your lungs! Regrets will vanish like curried tofu in a horde of vegans! Strange mammalian corrdiors will burst from the yeast-webbed portals of our back pupils and breathe through our lips! Whiskers will wither under the tyranny of pubic-lice! Well...maybe not that last one.
