Sleazy Cum Eazy are a 5 piece rock band from Glasgow that combine fat distorted riffs, pounding beats, sweet rhythms and blistering lead guitar with what can best be described as hard rockin’ bluesy vocals. It is a sound that has grown out of the collective influence of rock n roll greats such as AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Free and countless others. Whilst the band has elements of their sound that resemble their heroes, they also have a unique and identifiable sound that is Sleazy Cum Eazy.
Sleazy Cum Eazy came together around Oct 2006 and have been writing material and gigging since. Whilst developing and exploring their sound, the band have been gigging around Glasgow and its surrounding areas.
So far the band has recorded a professional 2 song demo, various live tracks and quickly recorded another 3 song demo which was put together in a single day in Paisley! Sleazy has a regular set of a number of songs to pick from and a hard core fan base established in the West of Scotland. The efforts of the recordings did not go unnoticed elsewhere as the band have attracted attention South of the border with radio play on Sunlight Radio as well as the track Little Pagan being picked up by Lakeland Records of Kendal, and subsequently being distributed on a promotional CD which is also available on iTunes, Napster and Amazon. Lakeland Records were so overwhelmed by Little Pagan that they said,
“I’m sorry but one of your tracks is just too good for the 3 minute rule because it rocks!”
