Slee was born back in 1984 when Mr Slee and BQP from Franklin Park NJ met up with a couple of young bucks from Hamilton NJ when looking to put a band together to record and perform a few of Slee's original tunes. After meeting up with Mark and Greg they expanded their repertoire to include mangled versions of just about every classic rock song you could imagine...and they hit the road running. The tracks you hear on this page were originally basic tracks with scratch vocals recorded in 1986 (?) at Studio 84 in Jamesburg NJ. No overdubs. No leads. No true vocal tracks...they had hoped to finish these songs at one point, but never got around to it. Thanks to Mark Sacco for finding the tapes and converting them to MP3 format. Their live show had been described as musical virtuosity with snippets of stand up humor and vaudevillian slapstick thrown in. In the last 20+ years, all of the boys have gotten married, reproduced, recorded and been on the road with other projects, and relocated from here to there. None the less, they still found time to get together a few times a year to play a local festival or holiday show. As they surpass their first 20 years together, there are rumors afoot that there may be some new studio recording dates being planned for late spring 2008.
