Having shared stages with Koko Taylor, ? & the Mysterians, Southside Johnny, Kenny Wayne Sheperd, Rick Derringer, Tommy Castro, Kenny Neal, & many others. the members of the Dogz have a long and impressive resume. A resume that also includes promotional work at Warner Brothers Records. Needless to say these guys "have been around the block", and have paid their dues.

When I first started thinking about getting a new "Tangled Up In Blues" theme song written, I kept on hearing Chico & Sleepin' Dogz in my head. We've been approached by a ton of bands to do a new "theme" for us. I'm sure all of them would do a great job, but for some reason, I kept hearing Chico's growl. Hell, even a couple "big time" national acts were going to cut a theme track for us! Make a long story short, here it is Friday March 16, 2007--and Chico just e-mailed me a new theme song. It's exactly what I wanted. I can hardly wait to play this sucker. It's gonna be a part of our show for a long time to come (unless we get cancelled--OUCH!)
