Our Featured Video
Before you read on and dive in, you should start with an appetizer: our Featured Video. Our Featured Video today is the first episode of Nighttime Monster.
This is our strange, creative little world. Sleeping Kitty Productions is the next step in entertainment, featuring animation, books, clothing, comedy, comics, graphic novels, movies, music, television, websites and more. Most of our content is and will be available online for free or little cost.
Now take a look at our full menu.
Animation
We've got one eye on the future and one foot in the past. Our most exciting animated project features a bunny named JoJo and a look that's distinctly old school.
Books, Comics and Graphic Novels
While we don't have any books in production currently, we do have a selection of comics and graphic novels in development, including a novel whose title has been released only as an abbreviation: "BHDG." It'll be written and drawn by Dennis Vogen.
Movies
We have some amazing movies in development, including a no-budget musical that Dennis Vogen began writing with Kenny Taylor, but has since starting writing on his own, as Taylor has moved to L.A. The musical is called "Bubbles," and a trailor is in the works right now, which should be online soon.
There are numerous other full-length projects in development. Hopefully, some without the creative involvement of Vogen.
Music
The Next Step is Sleeping Kitty Records' breadwinner. They've released 2 EP's and 3 LP's in their short career. Their next album, "Life & Death," should be released in the next year. Check them out at www.myspace.com/thenextstep.
Television
We're looking at new ways to watch TV, which includes watching TV... on your computer. Dennis Vogen is working on two programs: "The Green House" and "Jargon." Check the blog for more details.
More webisodes of "Nighttime Monster," the internet phenomenon about two awkward roommates, are also in the works. Scroll up to see the first episode.
The Next Step is also formulating a second season of "Ribbon & Cord," the popular internet reality show/video blog about the crazy world the Next Step lives in. Last season (which was two episodes split up in eight parts), Dennis, Nick and Jarrad exploded Diet Coke with Mentos, gave us insight into their lives, invaded their hometown mall and yelled at Kitty. In season two, who knows what Dennis and Tony will do.
Websites
Sleeping Kitty Productions also has website design and care, like automatic updates, available for full websites or just pages like MySpace.

FAQ'S
These are the frequently asked questions.
Q: What exactly is Sleeping Kitty Productions?
A: Are you serious? We just told you. Just... pay attention to stuff. And scroll up.
Q: Why a kitty?
A: Why the hell not? In high school, Dennis used to sign things with a sleeping kitty. It didn't make sense then. It doesn't make sense now. Dennis claims there's "symbolism" behind the logo, but he's not telling.
