The Belvedere lost its late licences, McGrattans bouncing decks problems....arghhhh Thanks to Mick Ford for getting us in touch with the Living Room. This is an ideal SN venue, air conditioned basement venue, reasonable bar prices. A fair few making it down to our first night here. I hope this to be our new long term home, so onwards and upwards, thanks for keeping with it, KTF --------------------------------------- We have been keeping the faith monthly since 2002. Offering rare soul an outlet in Dublin. We keep to the Northern Soul ethos of original vinyl. Doesn't mean it has to be expensive but does mean your not likely to hear anywhere in these parts. Like its roots in original mod we push the underplayed something different, even "the snake" was a new record once. but you'll find a few good oldies in the mix too We're serious about the music and about having fun, listening to great music, dancing, talking waffle, drinking, more dancing and general sillyness Only 2 rules 1. leave your troubles at the door and enjoy 2. The group wouldn't have made it to their 50th Anniversary without the support of their friends and FANS!
2009 has been an exciting year for the group so far... they are still celebrating their 50th year, they are still touring in support of their NEW CD 'You'll Never Know' ( available at Best Buy and Borders or for download at www. itunes. com and www. amazon. com ) and they are getting inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in April.
Plans for the rest of the year include TV appearances, possible trips to UK and Europe and of course more shows in the U.S
